Ellen Allien and Apparat - Orchestra of Bubbles

Rough Genre: Electro/Experimental Electro
Sounds like: An Orchestra of Bubbles!

Orchestra of Bubbles comes bursting out of the German experimental electro scene. The album is a beautiful, melodic collaboration from Ellen Allien and Apparat and fittingly titled! I've got a couple of tracks here for you to sample. If you like them, go and buy!

I should say thanks to Cat who is the reason I ever heard of this album.

Ellen Allien and Apparat - Do Not Break .

Berlin

Right I'm off to Berlin tomorow for a week so I've been scraping together some posts which I hope (fingers crossed) Blogger will post automatically over the next week. It could well be a disaster and I'll come back next Wednesday and find that no one reads this thing anymore because there's writing all over the screen and images sticking out of the walls.

Here's something nice to listen to in the meantime because I know you're all jealous:

about Cassette Culture

Cassette Culture is a music blog operating out of Bristol/Cardiff/Liverpool (depending where I am). You can read a bit more about it here.

If you enjoy the music you find here, please go and buy it, buy the album, buy the t-shirt, remember the graft and creativity that went into making these auditory delights.

If you want to send me tracks, art/photos, feedback on the blog or for any other reason - you can contact me here - cassetteculture {@} gmail.com (lose the brackets).

Unfortunately, it does cost money to keep this blog running. If you can help out at all please use the Paypal button below - any amount is hugely appreciated.
