OO its getting close to Christmas and so... here is an entirely un-christmasy tape. Never mind, I'm sure you're getting your Christmas fix elsewhere. I won't be updating Cassette Culture till January now because I'm having a bit of a holiday! So I hope you enjoy this tape. See you in the New Year.

Italians Fare Soldi bring us their track Tutto Tutti Sempre Subito a gloriously rapid electro chirper.
Fare Soldi - Tutto Tutti Sempre Subito

Le Castle Vanias remix The Virgins track Rich Girls. Massive.
The Virgins - Rich Girls (Le Castle Vanias Spring Break No Parents remix)

An absolutely storming remix of The Yeah Yeah Yeah's Cold Light by French duo Les Petits Pilous.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Cold Light (Les Petits Pilous remix)

Here's Hot City with their grooving track Head Work. It sounds a little like an electronic bag pipe / wailing spanner.
Hot City - Head Work

Australian artist Pogo weaves together short samples from films and other sources to create beautiful electro tapestries. Featuring samples from Mary Poppins Expialidocious is just one of many great Pogo tracks.
Pogo - Expialidocious

A cool, atmospheric piano track from Deadmau5. A relaxing way to end. Faxing Berlin.

So sorry about no tape last week, things got very busy and I ended up on a mountain. No Internet up there... This weeks tape owes a lot to a post on the Too Many Sebastians blog from which I nabbed three cracking tracks from We In Music, Hey Champ and the Priors. Star of the show though is the In Flagranti remix of Ali Love's Smoke and Mirrors which is perhaps the coolest song of the month, at least. Enjoy =D

A remix from the super-talented MMMatthias. This echoey munchcin is quite light hearted affair, a nice builder.

aUtODisco - One Basket (MMMatthias remix)

Its been a while Cut Copy! We've not seen much from these Australian electro terriers for a long time now. This is their remix of quirky American band The Juan MacLean's track Happy House which they twist into that much-loved Cut Copy sound. Launch me into space...launch me into space...
The Juan MacLean - Happy House (Cut Copy remix)

By far the best track I've heard in the last few months! I love this to bits, its just makes me dance all, over, the, place. In Flagranti remix Ali Love's Smoke and Mirrors.
Ali Love - Smoke And Mirrors (In Flagranti remix)

We In Music is a collaboration project of Raw Man (see below), Play Paul (Paul De Homem-Christo - one half of Daft Punk), Benjamin Diamond (of Stardust) and Curtis (Fabien Lefrançois). So with all that French talent pumped into one song you can see where this going.
We In Music - Time Unlimited

According to Too Many Sebastians (to whom this blog is massively indebted), the following two remixes were part of an exchange. Hey Champ remixed Priors track What You Need in return for a Raw Man (one half of Priors) remix of Neverest. I'm finding it pretty hard to keep track of whose one half, quarter or eighth of what but the tracks are damn good.
Hey Champ - Neverest (Raw Man remix)

Priors - What You Need (Hey Champ remix)

Good old Royksopp, still churning out deep, wholesome downbeat electro sprinkled with those sweet mellow vocals. The Hungarian Beyond Deep remixes their track Tricky Tricky.
