Sounds Like: Time to do the boogie-boogie

Australian DJ/prodjucer BeNi (Bennie Single) was a member of both Bang Gang Deejays and Riot In Belgium before embarking on his current spell of solo work. Here's a few of his tracks/remixes.

First up, the Short Like Me edit of Fringe Element which features on the new Kitsuné Maison compliation.

Paper Balloon...Moon?

Sounds Like: Dubby, low-lyric and minimal

Veterans of the Frankfurt electro scene, Booka Shade produce minimal, atmospheric beats for those who are still going at 3am. I only just picked up on these guys when I heard this track Paper Moon on a mix CD from my girlfriend and loved the quirky little lyrical chirrup that pops up every once in a while. Sounds a little like a digital Daffy Duck trying to clear his throat.
