Monkey in the mix

In the summer I bought myself a Hercules console and set about learning how to mix by pressing buttons and hitting stuff. I made my first pre-recorded mixtape a while ago but didn't feel it was good enough to share here. My next effort is a little better but still very amateur! In no way am I proclaiming this to be anything amazing at all - I just thought a few of you might like a listen and if anyone can give me feedback, positive or negative, I would really appreciate it. The mix is a live set I played at a party in Cardiff last Tuesday and I've called it "Daft Monkey" (there's a lot of Daft Punk in there)

    Sweet selection of tracks! If I can make one suggestion (I only notice this cuz I do the same thing), draw out your transitions a little more. They're a little too short sometimes so you can feel the jump to another song.

    Cheers Mo! Appreciate the feedback. Someone needs to write a decent DJing manual - although its great to just learn by messing around with it all, it would be so helpful to have some of the basics sorted. I'll take on board what you say about transitions. Cheers, Tom
