Mmm summer...Organ Morgan is the alias of a friendly chap called Mathew Mayes who hails from my very own town of Cardiff. Mathew could well be what we've all been waiting for - a summery, ambient sound bursting with delicious sample fruits, brilliantly weaved together into slow, meandering and tranquil melodies.
It's like eating a really really good crumpet.
And while Mathew works on his 26-track album (yeeeup!), he has generously offered us this EP, entitled 'Cocaine Afternoon EP', free for our listening pleasure. I can see all three of these tracks sitting alongside those of Lemon Jelly and The Avalanches themselves, and that's certainly no bad thing.
