Musical Mood: Night-time driving
Sounds Like: Standing on the hills, shouting into the valley.
Bat For Lashes brought out a new album called Two Suns on 6th April accompanied by single Daniel. Edwin Van Cleef has done a fine job of clubbing up the original but its faithful enough to still be a nice entry point for those who are unfamiliar with BFL...Maaah maybe I'll include an old BFL track too just because her voice is undeniably one of the most beautiful I have heard.
Bat For Lashes - Daniel (Edwin Van Cleef remix).
Bat For Lashes - Bat's Mouth.

BULLSHIT
@ Anonymous - I don't quite know what your contesting in that statement because you've just written "BULLSHIT". I assume your suggesting that I won't use the money for bandwidth? At Cassette Culture I actually regularly run out of bandwidth for the preview tracks and I cannot afford to buy more so that aspect of the site stops working until it is refreshed the next month. Recently, the downloads from Cassette Culture were so great that I maxed out a server and I've been switching servers ever since trying to keep costs down. This is both time consuming and irritatingly technical. So far, only one person has donated money to Cassette Culture via that link and his/her £3.33 went straight to buying more bandwidth for the site. It is quite clearly a voluntary donation button, there is no pressure on anyone to donate. I do welcome people's views on it though. My chief concern is to avoid putting adverts on the site, but if costs go up I'll either have to do that or shut the blog down.
@ Zac Yes I do have a low-quality stream file and link to Mediafire for downloads. It is the streaming that maxes out my servers. I also have to upload tracks to Yousendit so they list on Hype Machine. So yes, currently on Cassette Culture downloading is on free servers.
