Hullo there. While it's nice to see a band on a stage, all plugged in to amps and illuminated by various coloured lights against an artistic backdrop, its even nicer to see that same artist knocking around in a campervan with a couple of clapping men and a violinist. That's the essence of Handheld Shows - a website of jerky, handheld video footage of bands really getting down to some bare, stripped down music. Here's one of my favourite videos: St Vincent in a campervan doing "Marry Me".
